When Andy O’Driscoll visits the Hampton Roads area, we are treated to a true Dublin sound and lots of Dublin songs!
He sings a wide variety of songs from traditional to modern. He has been affectionately dubbed as the “Man with the Golden Voice” by some of the locals.
He is part of the band “Stephen’s Green” and has taken to cruising in the winter and touring in the summer, and you can go along with him and his mates for a fine time.
He can be heard at H20 on Shore Drive in VB, the new Conklins, and various venues in NOVA

Val Little
Raised in Clifden Ireland, Val takes the trad and modern Irish sound and mixes it with a bit of jazz and American pop, He is a regular at all the local pubs in the Hampton Roads area, and plays in DC, North Carolina, Florida, as well as a gig or two in Clifden when he goes home to see the family! Martin Marron
A staple in the area, Martin's performances run the gamut from raucous to sublime depending on his audience. He claims Sligo Ireland, Chicago, Hampton Roads and, at one time, the open road with Stephen;s Green, as his home, providing a broad musical background. Martin plays many of the local pubs. A local musician who started his career in the local session bands, James is now living his dream and making audiences sit down and listen. TFFM provides an outlet for local folk musicians and brings the best of contemporary folk to the Tidewater area.
Eclectic music session
There is trad music session at the Oasis Cafe and Bar in Virginia Beach on Wednesday nights and the first and third Sunday. Musicians from all over the area bring their fiddles, guitars, bodhrans, banjos, whistles, more fiddles, harmonicas, squeeze boxes, and even a mountain dulcimer.
